So You Forgot He Was Human Huh?

What made you think he was something other than a man? Did you forget that he was human and flawed because he carried the title "Man of God?" If anyone is truly to blame for his apparent indiscretion and shame, is you churchgoer! Yeah, you, the one who attended church in hopes of being spotted on tv, and you who went so you could boast and brag about the church you helped make. Honey, sit down, your ass did nothing but warm a seat and boost your complex. Oh I didn't forget about you who went so you could put a sticker on the back window of your car and wear the damn t-shirt. All y'all need to sit your asses down and open that dusty Bible you have in your backseat window. I saw you bragging about your pastor who wouldn't know you from a hole in the ground, yet you were so holy you couldn't buy that homeless man on the corner a bite to eat. Yes, you that wonderful so called Christian helped make a "god" out of a man. Somewhere between the flashing lights and the church coffee cup, you forgot the whole purpose of attending church was to hear the Word, be spiritually fed, and go and be a witness of the gospel. Would his shame have even mattered if his accusers were girls instead of boys? Don't get me wrong, if he is guilty, he should be held fully accountable for his actions, b/c when you assume the role "Man of God," you are held to a higher standard. It is far from my place to judge b/c I am in no way perfect or blameless and only he and God knows what truly happened. But, I wonder what is more devastating; the fact that it appears he fell, or the congregation for allowing him? Sadly, there will be many weak-minded Christians full of shallow faith who will lose their souls b/c they placed faith in a man and forgot about God...
